JAKARTA - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo reportedly booked net profit of IDR 530.59 billion in the first half of 2024, down 61.67% year-on-year (yoy) of IDR 1.38 trillion in H1 2023 due to increased operating expenses.

As seen in H1 2024 Financial Report today (11/7), Pelindo reported operating revenue of IDR 15.19 trillion and construction revenue of IDR 1.16 trillion. It actually increased from the same period in 2023, in which operating and construction revenue clocked up to IDR 14.78 trillion and IDR 469.04 billion.

However, Pelindo’s operating profit shrank to IDR 2.08 trillion from IDR 3.21 trillion, resulted from increased operating and construction expenses of IDR 12.40 trillion and IDR 1.16 trillion. In H1 2023, both expenses were seen at IDR 11.72 trillion and IDR 469.04 billion.

Profit before final taxes and income taxes in H1 2024 also declined to IDR 1.23 trillion from IDR 2.13 trillion in H1 2023, while current year’s net profit got halved to IDR 611.63 billion from IDR 1.38 trillion. (LK/ZH)
