Accelerating internet infrastructure expansion, WIFI pairs up with Japanese enterprise
JAKARTA. PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI), a digital service and internet network provider, has signed a partnership contract of Fiber To The Home (FTTH) network with NTT e-Asia Corporation, a Japan-based telecommunication company.
In said cooperation, NTT e-Asia Corporation will focus on providing IT solution and services. This contract was signed by Yune Marketatmo, President Director of WIFI, and the Representative Director of NTT e-Asia Corporation, Yasuyuki Nagae.
“Surge shares similar enthusiasm with NTT e-Asia in terms of the vision of establishing digital ecosystem and providing reliable and affordable connectivity for the masses,” said Marketatmo.
Meanwhile, Nagae mentioned that his company warmly welcomes this partnership with WIFI due to its unique business operation in the future.
“We believe in the uniqueness of this business operation carried out by Surge (WIFI), which not only focus on providing reliable and affordable connectivity through an effective and efficient investment but also for social, public welfare, and sustainability purposes,” added Nagae.
For the record, WIFI has been operating a major-scale fibre-optic backbone network that spans across rail tracks, as well as gas pipe network across Java Island. The company has also invested in bandwidth supply of up to 64,000 Gbps. (KR/ZH)
