JAKARTA – Shareholders reportedly agreed upon the plan of PT Agung Menjangan Mas Tbk (AMMS) to expand to business line of distributing groupers. This new line will add into the fierce competition of groupers distribution business in Indonesia.

In the information disclosure quoted Friday (12/7), Hartono Limmantoro, Director of AMMS, mentioned that the addition of this new business line has been approved by shareholders representing 978.50 million shares. This plan is said to increase revenue and assets of the company.

This year, AMMS projects total assets of IDR 74.33 billion, total liabilities of IDR 2.57 billion, and total equity of IDR 71.76 billion.

Other issuers that have entered this industry are namely PT CP Prima Tbk (CPRO), PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk (PMMP), PT Era Mandiri Cemerlang Tbk (IKAN), PT Prima Cakrawala Abadi Tbk (PCAR), PT Dharma Samudera Fishing Industries Tbk (DSFI), PT Cilacap Samudera Fishing Tbk (CSFI), PT Toba Surimi Industries Tbk (CRAB), and PT Agro Bahari Nusantara Tbk (UDNG). (LK/ZH)
