Indonesian gov’t to set up SUN auction next week, eyeing IDR 22 trillion this time
JAKARTA. Indonesian government will hold another auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) next Tuesday (23/7) with an indicative target of IDR 22 trillion.
There will be 7 series of SUN offered in said auction, consisting of 2 series of Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
Both SPN series will be offered with a discount, while ON series will have a range of yield rate from 6.62% to 7.12%.
All parties may submit their bids in the auction, but still, the bids should only be submitted through primary dealers authorised by the Ministry of Finance.
According to IDNFinancials data, this is the second SUN auction held by the Indonesian government in the second half of 2024. Prior to this, on July 9, the government had also conducted a SUN auction with total incoming bids of IDR 48.35 trillion and awarded amount of IDR 24 trillion. (KR/ZH)
