JAKARTA. PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk (SMSM), an automotive spare part manufacturer listed as a constituent of Indeks Tempo-IDNFinancials 52, is scheduling an interim dividend distribution of IDR 35 per share, or IDR 201.55 billion in total.

Ang Andri Pribadi, Director of Finance of SMSM, mentioned that said plan is in line with the result of the board of directors. “It had been approved by the board of commissioners on July 30, 2024,” he added in the official release.

The interim dividend will be given to SMSM’s shareholders whose names have been listed by the recording date on August 9, 2024. The interim dividend then will be paid on August 21, 2024.

According to IDNFinancials data, this is the second round of interim dividend payment set by SMSM for this fiscal year of 2024. Prior to this, in May 2024, the company had agreed to distribute an interim dividend of IDR 25 per share. Therefore, total interim dividend allocated by the company clocks up to IDR 60 per share now.

It is worth mentioning that SMSM is 1 of 76 issuers that manages to secure their positions in Indeks52 following a major evaluation, announced on July 26, 2024. The evaluation was conducted by a committee, represented by Tempo Media and IDNFinancials.

SMSM is listed as a constituent of Indeks52 under High Dividend and High Growth category. These categories reflect its high average dividend yield within the past 5 years, arriving at 4.88%, while the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of its net profit for the past 5 years reaches 10.33%. (KR/ZH)
