Blue Bird’s net profit saw 1.4% increase in H1 2024
JAKARTA. PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD), a transportation and logistics company with the highest market capitalisation in Indonesia booked net profit of IDR 263.01 billion in the first half (H1) of 2024.
BIRD’s net profit in H1 2024 increased 1.4% year-on-year (yoy) from the same period last year, in which the company scored net profit of IDR 359.45 billion.
Based on the recently issued financial report, BIRD’s net profit increase in H1 2024 is in line with its revenue, in which the company reported net revenue of IDR 2.33 trillion. It also increased 11.5% yoy.
BIRD’s taxi business line still contributed the most to total net revenue in H1 2024, generating IDR 1.7 trillion. Meanwhile, non-taxi business line was reported at IDR 655.6 billion.
Until June 30, 2024, BIRD’s total assets were recorded at IDR 7.77 trillion, with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 1.17 trillion, and total equity clocked up to IDR 5.67 trillion. (KR/ZH)
