JAKARTA - On Wednesday, August 7, foreign investors increased their share purchases, totaling 1.97 billion shares. The foreign selling volume was 1.62 billion shares, bringing the net foreign volume into the green zone and closing at 354.80 million shares. The share purchase transactions then began with the purchase of 141.66 million shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), with a net volume of 115.92 million shares.

Shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) were also purchased for 377.34 million shares, with a net volume of 111.83 million shares. In the renewable energy sector, 46.38 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) were purchased, for a net volume of 42.72 million shares. The shares of the aerosol services company PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO) were then purchased for 57.63 million shares with a net volume of 36.09 million shares, followed by the purchase of shares of the resort development and management company PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) for approximately 56.80 million shares with a net volume of 32.85 million shares.

Aside from that, foreign investors conduct share sales transactions, which are shown on the top-selling list. The most shares sold belonged to the real estate development company PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk (BSBK), namely around 226.16 million shares, and the net volume was -18.74 million shares. The shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were also sold for 81.84 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -32.45 million shares. Furthermore, the net volume of copper and gold mining company PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) and property business PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) was in the range of -14 million shares each after foreign investors sold 29.04 million AMMN shares and 25.31 million PWON shares. Finally, shares of paint producer PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA) were sold for 22.62 million shares, with a net volume of -13.75 million shares. (KD)
