JAKARTA. PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk (BLTZ), the managing company of CGV theatre network in Indonesia, booked net profit of IDR 9.87 billion in the first half (H1) of 2024.

Said number contrasted with BLTZ’s record in H1 2023, in which the company lost IDR 6.09 billion.

According to the recently issued financial report, BLTZ’s profitability in H1 2024 was supported by its net revenue, which reached IDR 617.61 billion in H1 2024. It increased 15.3% year-on-year (yoy) from the same period last year.

Theatre business line primarily contributed to BLTZ’s net income in H1 2024, generating IDR 395.25 billion. Then, food and beverages’ sales brought in contribution of IDR 190.78 billion, followed by events and advertising of IDR 31.49 billion, as well as licenses and management services of IDR 97.97 million.

According to IDNFinancials data, BLTZ’s total assets clocked up to IDR 2.15 trillion in June 2024, while total equity reached IDR 467.95 billion. (KR/ZH)
