JAKARTA - PT Shima Global Kapital released 249 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) on Monday, August 12. Prior to selling these shares, the investor owned about 22.09% of the shares of this oil and gas trading and exploration issuer, but now only 21.09% is left. This transaction was made possible by PT KB Valbury Sekuritas and PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia.

Additionally, PT Fersindo Nusa Jaya sold 18.60 million shares of the aerosol company for cosmetics and home appliances, PT Estee Gold Feet Tbk (EURO), once more. Likewise, by selling 11.21 million shares of the food and beverage retail company PT Platinum Wahab Nusantara Tbk (TGUK), Antony Lesmana further reduced the number of shares. After that, Djadjang Tanuwidjaja, another individual investor, released 100,000 shares of PT Total Bangun Persada Tbk (TOTL), a company involved in the construction industry. Foreign investor Morgan Stanley And Co. International Plc then released 311,800 shares of the production company PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM).

Conversely, PT Lautan Luas Tbk (LTLS), a basic and specialty chemical company, gained its ownership stake in its own company by acquiring 78.12 million shares via PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia. Presently, this issuer formally owns about 5% of LTLS shares. PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk, the controlling shareholder of private hospital operator PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME), subsequently purchased an additional 2.38 million shares, increasing its total ownership to 78.31%. Then, it was noted that a foreign investor named RR Capital Group Pte Ltd had purchased over 30 million shares of the issuer, PT Panca Global Kapital Tbk (PEGE), which was involved in securities brokerage and trading.

Finally, two private investors in PT Indo Acidatama Tbk (SRSN) made the decision to raise their stake in the company that produces chemicals. First, Budhi Moeljono increased his ownership of SRSN from 9.2% to 9.83% by purchasing an additional 38.44 million shares. Subsequently, Budhi Hartono procured 28.21 million shares, thereby augmenting his stake from 9.44% to 9.9%. (KD)
