BPII to channel IDR 20 billion of capital for subsidiary in Singapore
JAKARTA. PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk (BPII), an investment and financial services holding company, has allocated extra capital of SGD 1.68 million or equal to IDR 20 billion.
Said additional capital is given to Batavia Prosperindo Pte. Ltd. (BPD), which, for the record, is BPII’s subsidiary listed in Singapore.
The management of BPII also said that this extra capital is equal to 1.21% of total equity. Therefore, this transaction is not categorised as material, as stated by Financial Services Authority (OJK).
According to IDNFinancials dta, BPD is an entity engaged in the management consultancy services. As of June 30, 2024, its total assets were recorded at IDR 439.4 billion.
Total consolidated assets of BPII, on the other hand, as of June 30, 2024, were reported at IDR 4.47 trillion, with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 256.39 billion. Meanwhile, its total equity reached IDR 1.7 trillion. (KR/ZH)
