JAKARTA - Two constituents in the 52 High Dividend Index in the vehicle spare parts industry, PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO) and PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk (SMSM) pocketed dividend yield growth in 2022 to 2023. However, AUTO pocketed significant growth in the last two years.

Based on IDNFinancials’ data compiled on Thursday (22/8), AUTO scored a dividend yield for the 2023 financial year of 6.64%, up from the dividend yield in 2022 which was recorded at 4.27%. This issuer's total dividend is IDR 636.20 billion or IDR 132 per share.

The total dividend refers to net profit for the 2023 financial year of IDR 1.84 trillion, retained earnings balance of IDR 9.33 trillion, and total equity of IDR 14.53 trillion. In 2022, this issuer's total dividend will be IDR 424.13 billion or IDR 88 per share. Net profit IDR 1.32 trillion, retained earnings balance IDR 8.13 trillion, and total equity IDR 13.05 trillion.

On the other hand, AUTO's competitor, SMSM, recorded a dividend yield for the 2023 financial year of 2.54%, up from the dividend yield in 2022 which was recorded at 1.34%.
