Net foreign volume hits surplus of 586.51 million shares
JAKARTA - On Monday, September 2, foreign investors purchased up to 2.54 billion shares. Foreign sales volume then totaled 1.95 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume surplus of 586.51 million shares. The digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) had the highest number of shares purchased, with foreign investors purchasing 464.65 million shares for a net volume of 175.52 million shares.
In second place, 91.59 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services business PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were purchased, for a net volume of 67.85 million shares. In the finance sector, foreign investors purchased 75.22 million shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) and 92.54 million shares of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB). Through these two transactions, BMRI's net volume was 60.87 million shares, while BBYB's was 59.17 million shares. The renewable energy firm PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) was then acquired for 59.72 million shares, with a net volume of 56.71 million shares.
Furthermore, according to the share sales list, 78.44 million shares of multimedia business PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) were sold, with a net volume of -68.43 million shares. Shares of the banking company PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) were then also sold for 65.93 million shares with a net volume of -53.12 million shares. Still in the same sector, 29.12 million shares of PT Bank BRI Syariah Tbk (BRIS) were sold, for a net volume of -21.59 million shares. Additionally, shares of health services business PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk (CARE) were sold for 33.62 million shares, yielding a net volume of -32.06 million shares. Finally, shares of PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR), which specializes in foundation building, ground improvement, and heavy lifting, were sold for 24.54 million shares, with a net volume of -21.63 million shares.
