WIKA bags new Jetty 1 construction contract in Integrated Terminal Manggis
JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has secured the contract for the construction of new Jetty 1 in Integrated Terminal Manggis, Bali.
Said contract was received from PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, with contract value reaching IDR 475 billion.
Mahendra Vijaya, Corporate Secretary of WIKA, said that the construction of Jetty 1 is intended to optimise stevedoring capacity. Furthermore, the project is believed to increase reliability and resilience of oil fuel in Bali and surrounding regions.
“WIKA is entrusted with jetty construction, starting from land preparation to the operation, with completion target set to 2026,” added Vijaya in the official statement.
According to IDNFinancials data, WIKA managed to book net profit of IDR 401.95 billion in the first half (H1) of 2024, contrasting with H1 2023’s record, in which the company dealt with a loss of IDR 1.88 trillion.
Until June 30, 2024, WIKA’s revenue was recorded at IDR 7.53 trillion. Its revenue was still dominated by infrastructure and building projects, reaching IDR 3.46 trillion in worth, followed by industry projects of IDR 2.20 trillion, energy and industrial plant of IDR 1.2 trillion, and hotels of IDR 421.01 billion.
