JAKARTA - Foreign investors were reported buying and selling stocks on Thursday, September 5, with nearly equal results, with the foreign buying volume was 1.84 billion shares and the foreign selling volume was 1.81 billion shares. These activities then resulted in a net foreign volume surplus of 33.63 million shares. The industrial area development business PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) and the domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) took the top spot on the share purchase list, with a net volume of roughly 43 million shares each. This amount was established after foreign investors purchased 47.77 million KIJA shares and 53.21 million BULL shares.

Furthermore, approximately 48.67 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which focuses on renewable energy, were purchased, for a net amount of 33.83 million shares. Shares of the leasing company PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) was then purchased for 25.82 million shares with a net volume of 24.53 million shares, followed by the purchase of 50.10 million shares of the banking company PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) with a net volume of 24.52 million shares.

On the other hand, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) sold 243.10 million shares, and the net volume was -165.83 million shares. Aside from that, 86.91 million shares of the mineral mining business PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) were sold for a net volume of -82 million shares. The shares of its parent enterprise, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), in the coal mining industry were then sold for 122.53 million shares, leaving a net volume of -53.09 million shares.
