JAKARTA. PT Artha Kencana Rayatama (AKRT) has increased its portion in PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) by acquiring 32.09 million shares.

Haryanto Adikoesomo, President Director of AKRA, mentioned that this share purchase will bring AKRT’s portion in the company to 12.65 billion shares or equal to 63.05%. Prior to this, AKRT only recorded 12.62 billion shares or 62.89%.

The purchase of AKRA’s shares was carried out by AKRT with the price set to IDR 1,422.3 – IDR 1,437 per share. The share purchase is intended as AKRT’s investment.

According to IDNFinancials data, AKRA’s stock price yesterday (9/9) was closed at IDR 1,410 per share. Within the past year, AKRA’s price has indeed dropped 50 points or 3.42% lower. (KR/ZH)
