JAKARTA – Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (JCI) did not budge from the green zone all day today (12/9). It was opened and closed at the same level, 7,798.

Monitoring the board today, JCI was actually seen climbing to 7,813.35, right after the morning session started, another record broken by JCI within the past week.

JCI’s bullish trend was followed by other indices, including IDX30 that went up 0.23% to 484.62 and IDX80 that climbed 0.05% to 133.269. However, LQ45 slipped 0.02% to 951.627, as did IDXESGL by 0.46% to 166.579.

Some blue-chip stocks saw increases, such as PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA), PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR).

On the other hand, other stocks were corrected, including PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), and PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN). (LK/ZH)
