JAKARTA - Nicke Widyawati, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) was named in Fortune's 100 Most Powerful Women. Her figure is in 47th place out of 100 influential women according to the multi-platform media company.

In a press release quoted on Thursday (3/10), the Institute's appreciation for a number of influential women was delivered in New York, yesterday (2/10). These influential women come from various industrial sectors, including finance, technology, health, telco, retail and energy.

Nicke has served as President Director of Pertamina since 2018. According to this institution, Pertamina will be able to reap an increase in revenue of US$75.8 billion in 2023, down 11% from the same period last year. In its leadership, Pertamina has paid attention to the renewable energy business and sustainable oil and gas (oil and gas) technology with an investment of US$75.8 billion.

On the other hand, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President Corporate Communication at Pertamina, expressed his appreciation from Fortune, proving Nicke Widyawati's capability as a leading female business leader in the world. "Various strategic initiatives driven by Mrs. Nicke have brought Pertamina to become an energy company that is increasingly strong and competitive at the global level," he said.
