JAKARTA – Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (JCI) weakened at today’s (4/10) opening bell. The shift brought the index even lower compared to yesterday’s (3/10) closing position.

Monitoring the board this morning, the index shifted to 7,526.71 at 9.05 AM WIB, down from 7,542.43 at 9 AM. Although it slowly climbed until 10 AM, the index remained at the red zone.

JCI slow-down then affected other indices, such as LQ45 that slipped 0.15% to 936.010, IDX30 down 0.37% to 481.769, IDX80 down 0.10% to 133.207, and IDXESGL down 0.99% to 162.235.

Several blue-chip stocks were seen triumphing at the green zone, including PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR), and PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP).

On the other hand, however, other stocks that were corrected include PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR), PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD), PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (KEJU), PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM), and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO). (LK/ZH)
