JAKARTA. PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), a multi-sector holding company, announces its plan to distribute interim dividend of IDR 3.96 trillion or IDR 98 per share in the near future.

Gita Tiffany Boer, Corporate Secretary of ASII, said that the plan follows the decision made by the board of directors of the company on September 12, 2024. “The approval from the board of commissioners has taken effect starting from October 1, 2024,” she added in the official statement in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The interim dividend will be given to ASII’s shareholders whose names have been listed by the recording date on October 15, 2024. The interim dividend will then be paid on October 31, 2024.

According to IDNFinancials data, ASII opened weak at 75 points or 1.43% lower to IDR 5,175 per share until 9.33 AM WIB. This brought total decline to 525 points or 9.21% since the beginning of 2024.

As of June 30, 2024, ASII reported net profit of IDR 15.85 trillion, with retained earnings of IDR 187.38 trillion and total equity of IDR 254.18 trillion. (KR/ZH)
