JAKARTA – Jakarta Stock Price Composite Index (JCI) weakened at the closing bell of today’s (9/10) afternoon session after gaining strides earlier in the morning.

Monitoring the board, JCI was at 7,512.85 nearing the closing bell today at 3.49 PM WIB. This condition was actually an improvement compared to 7,506.64 seen at 1.50 PM WIB. Although it managed to strengthen, it has yet to reach the starting position.

Several indices saw a slight hike until the closing bell, including LQ45 that went up 1.28% to 939.272, IDX30 up 1.33% to 483.970, IDX80 up 0.85% to 133.624, and IDXESGL up 1.62% to 163.653.

Some of the stocks got corrected, namely PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), and PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF).

Other stocks shifted optimistically, such as PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (KEJU), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), dan PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL). (LK/ZH)
