JAKARTA. PT Central Omega Resources Tbk (DKFT), a trading and mining company, has reportedly acquired 100% of PT Bumi Bintang Silika (BBS), a limestone mining company based in North Morowali, Central Sulawesi.

Feni Silviani Budiman, Director of DKFT, mentioned that the acquisition of BBS was carried out by its subsidiaries, PT Itamatra Nusantara (IMN) and PT Mega Buana Resources (MBR). The exercise price for this acquisition was set to IDR 100 milion.

“The acquisition of BBS by IMN and MBR is a long-term strategy of the company to expand its business activities through acquiring companies with mining licenses in Indonesia,” said Budiman in the official statement.

The party that sold BBS’s shares to DKFT’s subsidiaries is not publicly disclosed, but Budiman confirmed that this takeover is considered as an affiliate transaction, as regulated by Financial Services Authority (OJK).

According to IDNFinancials data, DKFT’s stock price went up 2 points or 1.46% in today’s (18/10) transaction. Since the beginning of the year, however, it has soared 25 points or 21.93%. (KR/ZH)
