FILM to issue up to 10% new shares in rights issue
JAKARTA. PT MD Entertainment Tbk (FILM), a company engaged in movie production industry, will issue 10% of shares through the capital increase with pre-emptive rights, also known as rights issue.
“The capital raise is carried out by the company to strengthen the capital structure, thus granting extra fund to support operational activities of the company,” added the management of FILM in the official statement.
The management of FILM will ask for approval from Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to conduct this corporate action. The EGMS is then scheduled on November 28, 2024.
According to IDNFinancials data, FILM’s stock price arrived at IDR 3,080 per share until 10.52 AM WIB.
PT MD Global Investments has a control over 50.50% of FILM. Then, Manoj Dhamoo Punjabi has another 17.50%, followed by Morgan Stanley of 14.62%, and public investors of 17.38%. (KR/ZH)
