JAKARTA - On Wednesday, November 6, foreign investors’ shares purchases hit up to 4.67 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign sales volume stood at 4.49 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume surplus of 181.96 million shares. The mineral mining business PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) had the most shares purchased, totalling 882.48 million shares with a net volume of 529.70 million shares.

Apart from that, 66.19 million shares of the media company PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) were purchased, with a net volume of 53.62 million shares. In the renewable energy sector, 48.51 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) were acquired, with a net volume of 43.01 million shares. The shares of the financial services company PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) were then purchased for 104.95 million shares, with a net volume of 40.29 million shares, followed by the purchase of 75.64 million shares of the property company PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), with a net volume of 38.69 million shares.

On the other side, around 253.55 million shares of the general mining contractor services business PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) were sold, for a net volume of -203.45 million shares. Foreign investors then sold shares in three banking companies: PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI). BBRI shares were sold for 137.77 million shares, with a net volume of -103.61 million shares, followed by 120.21 million shares of BMRI, with a net volume of -87.53 million shares, and 39.79 shares of BBNI, with a net volume of -25.20 million shares. Finally, shares of the subscription television service provider PT MNC Sky Vision Tbk (MSKY) were sold for 140.98 million shares, with a net volume of -49.70 million shares. (KD)
