JAKARTA. PT Jobubu Jarum Minahasa Tbk (BEER), an alcoholic beverage manufacturer, has launched a new variant of its wine, Anggur Pink (pink wine or rosé), which is believed to have an extensive market niche.

Audy Charles Lieke, President Director of BEER, said that Anggur Pink is a continuation of a series of new product variant launch in wine category. Prior to this, the company had brought forward its Anggur Hijau (white wine) and Anggur Merah (red wine) back in October 2024.

Lieke further said that wine is one of the products with the biggest market potential in Indonesia. “Total market of wine is approximately 40 times bigger than soju market, which is the current primary product of the company,” Audy said.

With the launch of these new products, BEER expects to record even higher growth in its revenue.

According to IDNFinancials data, BEER managed to book revenue of IDR 37.83 billion within the first nine months (9M) of 2024. However, compared to the same period last year, the company saw 38.8% year-on-year (yoy) decline in its revenue. (KR/ZH)
