JAKARTA. PT Sat Nusapersada Tbk (PTSN), a manufacturer of electronic equipment for a number of well-known brands, has obtained a credit facility worth US$ 53.5 million from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI).

Abidin Fan, President Director of PTSN, said that the company received credit facilities in the form of investment credit, working capital credit and treasury line credit. The value of each credit facility is US$45 million, US$4 million and US$4.5 million, respectively.

Abidin added that the credit facility will support a number of business developments that will be carried out by the company, in several new projects that will take place. One of them is a new building construction project called Gedung 16.

"After the new building is completed, it will increase production capacity and production warehouses," said Abidin, in an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).

Apart from that, said Abidin, part of the credit facility will also be used by PTSN to pay off existing debt at BMRI. However, Abidin emphasized that the existence of this credit facility will increase the company's financial liquidity in the future. (KR/LM)
