Foreign sell recorded higher, net foreign volume drops to -996.41 million shares
JAKARTA - On Wednesday, November 13, foreign selling volume (4.68 billion shares) outpaced foreign buying volume (3.68 billion shares). This disparity caused the net foreign volume to fall to -996.41 million shares. One of the factors contributing to the high foreign sales volume was the sale of shares in the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), which reached 1.43 billion shares with a net volume of -382.57 million shares.
Furthermore, the sale of 633.30 million shares of the coal mining business PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and 325.63 million shares of its mineral mining subsidiary (PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS)) resulted in a net volume in the range of -200 million shares. Shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), which works in the energy and petrochemical industries, were sold for 46.62 million shares, with a net volume of -45.09 million shares. Furthermore, shares of the supermarket and hypermarket chain company PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) were sold for 77.72 million shares, with a net volume of -43.93 million shares.
Meanwhile, foreign investors also purchased shares, which were listed in the top buy list. Around 455.70 million shares of the general mining contractor services business PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) were purchased, for a net volume of 190.97 million shares. Furthermore, for a net volume of 72.43 million shares, 77.52 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), a company that provides both local and international shipping services, were bought. Foreign investors then bought shares in the palm oil producer company PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) and the integrated upstream energy provider company PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) in the range of 22 million shares. The net volume of NSSS and RAJA after those transactions was 19.88 million shares and 14.03 million shares, respectively. Finally, PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP), a banking company, had a net volume of 13.60 million shares after 15.41 million shares were bought. (KD)
