Tempo-IDN Financials Releases List of Top 51 CEOs for 2024
BANDUNG – Tempo, in collaboration with IDN Financials, has unveiled the list of the Top 51 Best Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) during the Top CEO Indonesia Awards 2024, held at the Pullman Bandung Grand Central in West Java, on Friday, November 15, 2024. This marks the second edition of the event, following the Top CEO Indonesia 2023 awards held in December last year at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, where 43 CEOs were recognized.
The recognition of these 51 top-performing CEOs is based on the exceptional performance of their companies and the successful implementation of sustainability initiatives during their tenure, particularly between 2022 and 2023. These leaders have been credited with steering their companies to significant growth in assets, equity, revenue, and net profits, while also spearheading environmentally, socially, and community-focused sustainability programs.
Notably, the 2024 cohort of awardees represents large-cap companies across a range of industries. Among the 51 CEOs, 10 hail from corporations that are listed within the Top 10 market capitalization on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Collectively, the companies led by these 51 CEOs boast a combined market capitalization of IDR 7.46 quadrillion as of August 2024.
This year, Tempo-IDN Financials has given special recognition to several CEOs for their exemplary and inspiring contributions to environmental, social, and community programs. This qualitative assessment emphasizes the CEOs' dedication to social responsibility and the tangible positive impact of their initiatives.
The selected CEOs represent a wide range of sectors, including national banking, coal mining, telecommunications and infrastructure services, processed foods, retail trade, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, mineral metals, gas, processed tobacco, property development, road infrastructure, and aviation industries.
The Top CEO Indonesia Awards 2024 ceremony will take place following a panel discussion titled “Indonesia Economic Outlook: Prospects for Macroeconomics, Capital Markets, and Banking in 2025.” Featured speakers include Dr. Agustinus Prasetyantoko, Lecturer at Unika Atmajaya’s Applied Economics Master’s Program in Jakarta; Jahja Setiaatmadja, CEO of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA); Yassierli, Minister of Manpower; and Susanto Djaja, CEO of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL).
