Susanto Djaja Wins The Best CEO Award for Commitment to Enhancing Digital Literacy
BANDUNG – Tempo-IDNFinancials has awarded The Best CEO to Susanto Djaja, President Director of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL), in recognition of his strong commitment to advancing digital literacy.
The award, presented at the Top CEO Tempo-IDNFinancials event, acknowledges Susanto Djaja's leadership in a technology company dedicated to promoting digital literacy. This is also a response to several of the company's initiatives aimed at improving digital literacy across its business operations.
MTDL has implemented numerous digital literacy initiatives, including the development of digital talent through programs such as Kampus Merdeka, Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS), and collaborations with Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi Wilayah (LLDIKTI) to develop independent programs. Additionally, MTDL has provided digital literacy education to university lecturers and initiated various awareness programs in higher education.
Through one of its subsidiaries, MTDL also operates Metrodata Academy, which regularly conducts training sessions. The academy focuses on four main pillars: Metrodata IT Camp, Metrodata Internship, Metrodata Training, and Metrodata Mengajar.
The company's focus on enhancing digital literacy is accompanied by continued positive business performance. In 2023, MTDL posted a net profit of IDR 650.77 billion, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 12.75% over the last four years.
MTDL has also been selected as a constituent of the Indeks52, a collaboration between Tempo and IDN Financials. The company’s consistent business growth and dividend distribution have earned it a place in the High Dividend and High Growth categories of the index.
As of September 30, 2024, MTDL reported a net profit of IDR 445.41 billion, reflecting a 10.8% year-on-year (yoy) increase compared to the same period last year. (KR)
