JAKARTA. PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA)  saw an 18.22% decline or 430-points downturn within the past month, arriving at IDR 1,930 per share at the opening bell today (29/11).

This price drop entails a series of offloading by foreign investors that has taken place since the beginning of this month towards MDKA. From these foreign sell activities, it accumulated net foreign sell of 126.97 million shares.

MDKA registered total transaction volume of 608.62 million shares since the beginning of November. Total transaction value reached IDR 1.27 trillion, with frequency standing at 115,789.

At yesterday’s (28/11) closing bell, MDKA was closed weakening 3.50% or 70 points lower. Since the beginning of this year, however, it has plunged 21.54% or 530 points down.

As of now, MDKA has yet to publish its Q3 2024 report. However, the company has reported that its revenue until the end of September (9M) 2024 clocked up to USD 1.67 billion.

Meanwhile, in the first half (H1) of 2024, the company posted loss of USD 12.5 million, or equal to approximately IDR 189.21 billion, whereas its revenue skyrocketed by 110.33% year-on-year (yoy) to USD 1.09 billion. (KR/ZH)
