Karya Pacific Investama purchases 6.2 billion MNC Energy (IATA) shares
JAKARTA - PT Karya Pacific Investama made the decision to officially start a new investment in PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA), a business owned by MNC Group that deals in energy trading and investment, on Tuesday, November 26. This new investor promptly acquired over 6.28 billion shares through PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas, giving them a 24.91% ownership stake. However, by releasing about 3.55 billion IATA shares through PT MNC Sekuritas, the former IATA controller, PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk, decreased its shares from 44.08% to 30%.
Additionally, it was seen that two private investors were adding shares in PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk (WINS). Sugiman Layanto purchased two million shares through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia, and Johnson Williang Sutjipto purchased 3.18 million WINS shares through PT Mandiri Sekuritas. Currently, both investors own about 7% of the shares. The company Wintermar Offshore itself offers auxiliary transportation services to the offshore oil and gas sector.
Following this, investor Yulisar Khiat invested 3.11 million shares in PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), the operator of Hermina Hospital, while PT Bogamulia Nagadi invested 518,700 shares in PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), a pharmaceutical company.
However, PT Samuel Tumbuh Bersama once again conducted the sale of 37.20 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), a company that produces palm oil. Then, J Trust Co. Ltd., a foreign investor, sold off around 13.14 million shares of PT Bank Jtrust Indonesia Tbk (BCIC). Lastly, Dillon Sutandar and Catur Jatiwaluyo, two individual investors in PT Paperocks Indonesia Tbk, were also conducting a reduction in shares.
