PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT) manufactures and trades cosmetics, body care, herbal and traditional health drinks. It was started in 1975 by Mooryati Soedibyo who made herbal medicine and cosmetics in her garage for friends and relatives. With its growth, its commercial operations commenced 3 years later. In 1981, it started operating a factory located in East Jakarta. The company went IPO in 1995. It keeps developing its products which are marketed domestically and internationally.
