JAKARTA - PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk (POWR) recorded 5% sales growth in industrial areas until March 2019.
“This was supported by our number of customers, which increased by 15, and our connected power capacity which increased by 5 megavolt amperes (MVA),” said POWR Investor Relations and Corporate Finance Manager Baskara Rosadi Van Roo as quoted by Kontan.co.id, Thursday (4/7).
In the second semester of 2019, POWR plans to continue focusing on supplying additional electricity demand from industrial areas and PLN. Currently the company supplies electricity to five industrial areas in Cikarang, West Java with a total capacity of 1,144 MW.
In the first quarter of 2019, POWR absorbed capital expenditure (capex) of US$ 2.4 million with a total budgeted amount of US$ 50 million. In the second semester, the company will allocate the capex for distribution network development. (MS)
