Al Abrar explained that Pelindo 1 Branch Sei Pakning is committed to optimizing marine service in the form pilot and tug services with zero waiting time and professional pilot HR. In addition, Sei Pakning Port has also implemented the Indonesia Gateway Master Terminal (IGMT) system, which is a system of multipurpose terminal operations that is systemized, integrated and real-time online in the face of industrial development, so as to support the growth of surrounding businesses and industries.
The main business of Sei Pakning Port is the Marine Service that starts from the Pilot Station located in the Morong Strait to the ship to ship area in Sei Pakning, the Port Terminal for Self-interest (TUKS) of Pertamina, Tanjung Buton Public Port and Futuk TUKS. Ship traffic served by Sei Pakning Port has increased every year, where in 2017 Pelindo 1 Sei Pakning serves 743 vessel calls, in 2018 there were 1,031 vessel calls and in 2019 there were 1,161 vessel calls.
