JAKARTA. DANA e-wallet announced its latest partnership with Igloo to introduce Gamer’s Protection, a protection against all gaming-related health risks for millions of gamers in Indonesia.
Gamer’s Protection is the second collaboration initiated by DANA and Igloo. In October 2021, DANA and Igloo also launched a gadget protection insurance.
The insurance policy included in the Gamer’s Protection is offered with a premium starting from IDR 1,000 with a claim of up to IDR 1 million for heart attacks and carpal tunner syndrome (CTR). This protection is accessible for DANA users through their mobile application.
Novasta Novasta, Country Manager of Igloo for Indonesia, claimed that this collaboration supports Igloo’s commitment to create digital finance inclusion in Indonesia. Furthermore, the gaming industry in Indonesia seems to have developed rapidly during the pandemic.
“On average, Indonesians spend 8.5 hours a week for gaming. In the long run, it might cause health problems, for instance, carpal tunner syndrome,” Novasta explained in the official release.
Meanwhile, Rangga Wiseno, Chief of Product of Dana Indonesia, claimed that this partnership proves that DANA does not only focus on facilitating digital purchase of games but also protecting the gamers from health issues,” he added. (KR/ZH)
