JAKARTA - The final trading day of 2022 saw a net foreign trading volume of a negative 144.71 million shares. Foreign investors bought 1.6 billion Indonesian shares and sold 1.75 billion on Friday, December 30th. In December alone, total foreign net volume was recorded in the red zone, with minus 22.15 billion shares.

PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), a technology company, is still seeing large transactions after foreign investors sold 810.46 million units of its shares. As a result, GOTO had the lowest net volume, with minus 82.32 million shares. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) came in second with a net volume of minus 42.79 million and a total foreign sales volume of 84.23 million. Foreigners also sold 62.33 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), 28.51 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), and 19.82 million shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (MTEL).

PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) is the company where the most foreign money is currently spent. Foreign investors bought 53.83 million BULL shares, bringing the net volume to 38.70 million shares, which was also the highest on the exchange this time. The next highest net volume was 35.29 million shares, resulting from foreign purchases of 36.49 million PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) shares. Overseas buyers also purchased 20.82 million shares of PT Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring Tbk (DGIK), 17.47 million shares of PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL), and 22.78 million shares of PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk (BSBK).
