JAKARTA - On the first trading day, Monday, January 2, PT Batavia Properindo Internasional Tbk strengthened its position as the controlling shareholder of PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI). Batavia Prosperindo purchased 1,160,627,882 shares of MTWI, boosting its ownership percentage from 46.21% to 88.71%.

Following that, PT Kurnia Sentosa Mulia purchased 410.78 million shares, or approximately 5.13% ownership, in property issuer PT Surya Permata Andalan Tbk (NATO). As the controlling shareholder, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala was also seen purchasing approximately 2.02 million shares in PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), while PT Tudung Putra Putri Jaya purchased another 1.64 million shares in PT Garudafood Putra Putra Jaya Tbk (GOOD). Not only that, but PT Bogamulia Nagadi owns 913,800 shares more of consumer goods issuer PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC).

Meanwhile, PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa Tbk divested 234.01 million shares of its subsidiary, PT Widodo Makmur Unggas Tbk (WMUU). PT Berkah Global Investama also agreed to sell 15 million shares of PT Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk (BEBS). Then, the controller, PT Investasi Sukses Bersama, sold up to 10 million shares of PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI). GOTO Peopleverse Fund also continues to release shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), this time 107.96 million shares, while UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Ltd is seen selling 1,860,000 shares of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP).
