JAKARTA - The volume of shares sold by foreign investors reached 2.45 billion units on Thursday, January 5, while the volume of shares purchased was close to 2.3 billion. This time, the net volume of foreign exchange was -157.32 million shares. Surprisingly, GOTO shares had a net volume of 267.5 million shares after foreign investors purchased 683,728,000 shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). Foreign investors, on the other hand, sold the most shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), at 279.77 million, with a net volume of minus 62.79 million.

Foreigners are also interested in the shares of PT Wulandari Bangun Laksana Tbk (BSBK), which sold 52.87 million shares to foreigners. However, because of the high sales volume, the net volume of BSBK was only 17.91 million pieces. Foreign investors also purchased 36.99 million PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF) shares and 29.66 million PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) shares. These two issuers reported net volumes of approximately 25 million shares each. Finally, with a net volume of just under 20 million, foreign funds were used to purchase 30.41 million shares of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR).

Foreign investors, on the other hand, released 115.05 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), making TLKM's net volume negative by 49.75 million shares. The following three issuers reported net volumes in the range of minus 33 to 34 million shares. Foreign investors sold a total of 55.28 million PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) shares, 49.61 million PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) shares, and 33.87 million PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI) shares.
