Mitra Tirta to build bottled water factory in Sleman
JAKARTA – PT Mitra Tirta Buwana Tbk (SOUL), a bottled water manufacturer, will establish a new facility in Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This new factory is expected to increase production capacity up to 3 million units of bottled mineral water in various sizes next year.
Quoting its prospectus today (11/1), the investment channelled for this plan clocks up to IDR 5 billion. The money originates from the proceeds of its initial public offering (IPO) last week (2-4/1), which is targeted to raise IDR 29.7 billion.
The construction of this factory is projected for completion in September 2023. It will be erected on a tract of land that has been leased for 20 years from Sariharjo Sub-District, an unaffiliated institution. The factory is estimated to be a two-story building, build over 1,200-m2 land.
SOUL has chosen PT Eka Jaya Putra as its factory construction contractor, which will be responsible for the work stated in the Construction Budget Plan worth IDR 6.69 billion. (LK/ZH)
