JAKARTA - The volume of foreign investors' trade on Monday, January 9, was around 2 billion shares, with 1.97 billion for foreign purchases and 2.13 billion for sales. As a result, foreign net volume was minus 158.73 million shares this time, with GOTO shares down -308,671,500. This was due to foreign investors purchasing 655.62 million PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk shares while selling 964.29 million shares. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares, on the other hand, were the best-selling, with 230.09 million shares sold to foreigners and a net volume of 123,531,300 shares.

Foreign investors are also interested in the shares of other mining companies, as demonstrated by the purchase of 70.77 million shares of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) with a net volume of 23.62 million. Furthermore, foreigners pocketed 60.43 million shares of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) and 48.01 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), for a net volume of 49.39 million and 35.40 million, respectively. Foreign money was also collected in order to purchase 25.14 million shares of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB).

PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) shares of 54.45 million and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) shares of 97.92 million, on the other hand, were sold in large quantities by foreigners. The two state-owned enterprises reported negative net volumes of -54.11 million and -29.92 million, respectively. Following that, 39.91 million shares of PT PAM Mineral Tbk (NICL) and 20.2 million shares of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) were also sold by foreign investors. (KD)
