JAKARTA. PT Ace Hardware Tbk (ACES) is targeting to secure revenue and net profit growth of 10% in 2023, compared to the previous year.

Melinda Pudjo, Corporate Communications of ACES, said that this target aligns with the current situation of retail industry that is projected to regain its strength after consecutive declines in the past two years. She even mentioned that this industry will experience a growth surge.

In order to realise said target, ACES has prepared several strategies, including outlet expansion. “This year, we aim to establish 10 new outlets,” Pudjo mentioned in the press release.

As of now, ACES manages 228 stores that are spread across the country. Should this year’s target be secured, its total outlets will rise to 238 units.

On the other hand, ACES also sets up a capital expenditure budget of IDR 200 to 300 billion this year. For comparison, in 2022, the company allocated IDR 300 billion to its capital expenditure budget. Most of last year’s capital expenditure went to the opening of 15 new outlets.

“Therefore, this year, we aim to see growth, both in the top and bottom line, of 10% each,” Pudjo said. (KR/ZH)
