Ace Hardware opens first store this year in Tarakan
JAKARTA. PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), a retail company owned by the Kawan Lama Group, has opened a new store in Tarakan, North Kalimantan.
The location of the new outlet is at Jalan Mulawarman Kota No. 14, Karang Anyar Pantai, Tarakan City. The outlet was built with an area of 1,900 square meters. With the opening of this new store, the total outlets owned by ACES have increased to 229 outlets.
"The ACE Tarakan store is the first store to open in 2023," said
Yoelius Saputra, ACES Marketing General Manager. :Choosing North Kalimantan and the city of Tarakan as the area for market expansion is based on the results of management research, where this expanded area has the potential for the ACES business in the future," added Saputra.
In 2023, ACES targets to open 10-15 new outlets in Indonesia. This target is set to support revenue growth of up to 8-10% by the end of the year.
The capital expenditure prepared by ACES this year is around IDR 200 billion to IDR 300 billion. Most of the capex budget will be used for store expansion. (KR/LM)
