JAKARTA - On Tuesday, January 17, shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), an issuer in the renewable energy industry, were selling well as new investors sought them out. Not one, but four new investors rushed into OASA and purchased a large number of shares. PT Solusi Karya Sukses was the first new investor, purchasing 294.08 million shares, followed by PT Berkah Alam Asri, which purchased 293.9 million shares. These two companies now each own 14.4% of OASA. Following that, PT Maju Sukses Nusajaya acquired a 13.62% stake in the company by purchasing 283.2 million shares. Finally, PT Trukindo Persada Sejahtera acquired 174.35 million OASA shares, giving it an 8.38% stake in the company.

Aside from OASA, only PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) shares were purchased by the holder of at least a 5% stake. UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Ltd., a foreign investor, added another 5,015,000 CPRO shares, bringing its shareholdings in this shrimp farming company to 12.5%.

On the other hand, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares were the most sold this time, with GOTO Peopleverse Fund selling 422.84 million shares. Then, PT Honoris Corporindo also released 15.8 million shares of PT Modernland Realty Tbk (MDLN). Moreover, two controlling shareholders appeared to be selling shares as well: PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), which sold 6.73 million shares of PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, and PT Persada Inti Sejahtera, which sold 1.5 million shares of PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk (JAST). Finally, another foreign investor, Bintang Bara B.V., sold 1.66 million shares of coal issuer PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA). (KD)
