JAKARTA. PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR), one of many subsidiaries of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), has channelled extra capital worth IDR 19.17 billion to PT Trans Jabar Tol (TJT).

Said extra capital is given through participating in the issued and paid-up capital raise of TJT of 38,336 shares in total. All these shares are taken over by WTR as the controller of 99.9998% of TJT’s shares.

“With this capital increase, given by WTR to TJT, we hope to optimise TJT’s performance, and, in turn, offer added value for the company (WSKT) as the shareholder of WTR,” the management of WSKT, mentioned in the information disclosure today (24/1).

After injecting extra capital, WTR’s portion in TJT remains at 99.9998%. However, the shares value now reaches IDR 2.1 trillion.

For the record, the additional capital given by WTR to TJT is not categorised as a material transaction as dictated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), given the fact that the transaction only equals 0.10% of WSKT’s total equity. (KR/ZH)
