3 Srikandi made it to Forbes 50
JAKARTA - Three Indonesian heroines, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Noni Purnomo, and Herjati were selected to be among the 50 women over 50 (50 Over 50) in Asia 2023 according to Forbes.
The Forbes website quoted on Wednesday (25/1), said Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Finance, was known as a woman who promoted anti-corruption and gender equality. The Minister of Finance was also said to be able to reduce public debt by up to 30% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Noni Purnomo, the founder of Blue Bird taxi, is said to have been able to guide her company through the crisis by establishing BirdKirim, a delivery service with digital payments in 2020. His figure is also mentioned as the recipient of the UN's Asia-Pacific Women Empowerment Principles (WEP) Award 2020 and CEO of the Year in 2021 from IDC Futures Enterprise Award.
Herjati is said to have brought Sillo Maritime as a company with revenues of US$ 101 million at the end of 2021. As finance director of Sillo Maritime in 2002, she was able to manage until she led the company to make its debut on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. (LK/LM)
