JAKARTA. Peter Sondakh, one of the richest businessmen in Indonesia, has sold out shares of PT Express Transindo Utama Tbk (TAXI) with a discount of 92.2% below the market price.

Sales were made through PT Rajawali Corpora, one of the business entities owned by Peter Sondakh. The number of TAXI shares sold by Rajawali Corpora was 1.09 billion shares, equivalent to 10.7% of the total issued and fully paid capital.

The sale of TAXI shares was carried out at a price of IDR 3.90 per share. Meanwhile, according to data from idnfinancials.com, TAXI's share price has been stagnant at the level of IDR 50 per share since May 2022.

The value of the TAXI shares sold by Rajawali Corpora is IDR 4.26 billion. The sale was held for 2 days, on January 10 and 12, 2023.

Abed Nego, Director of Rajawali Corpora, did not disclose who bought the shares. However, based on the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today, the sale of shares was carried out in the framework of a divestment.

After the sale of these shares, Rajawali Corpora no longer owns TAXI shares. (KR/LM)
