Aiming for expansion, LAJU to secure 25 new trucks
JAKARTA – PT Jasa Berdikasi Logistics Tbk (LAJU) will purchase 25 trucks from the proceeds of its initial public offering (IPO). In said corporate action, taking place from January 20 to 25, 2023, the company aims to score IDR 70 billion of fresh funds.
Based on the prospectus issued today (26/1), LAJU has set the capital expenditure (capex) budget worth IDR 26.75 billion, equal to 38.22% of IPO proceeds. The capex is allocated to purchase land worth IDR 15.46 billion, leaving the remaining IDR 11.28 billion to be spent on Hino and Isuzu trucks.
LAJU plans to acquire a 130 HDL box truck worth IDR 411 million per unit from PT Dayaguna Motor Indonesia (DMI). Hopefully, these new vehicles will be able to be operated this year to accommodate clients with prior working contracts.
LAJU is now operating 400 units of truck, but it aims to secure 1,030 units in total in the next five years. (LK/ZH)
