JAKARTA. PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG) has set the target of its return on investment to 20% in 2023, focusing on the renewable energy sector.

“As an investment corporation, our purpose is to bring in beneficial returns for our shareholders. Our returns target is 20% per year,” Devin Wirawan, Director of Investment of SRTG, stated yesterday (26/1). However, this year, Wirawan mentioned that his company will direct its focus on the renewable energy sector through its portfolio in PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) and PT Merdeka Gold & Copper Tbk (MDKA).

According to Wirawan, his company has pushed its subsidiary PT Famon Awal Bros Sedaya Tbk. (PRAY) to make a debut through the initial public offering (IPO) in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This year, SRTG will also continue to promote other business portfolios.

SRTG prepares USD 100-150 million for investments this year, keeping in mind that the investment will be highly influenced by many factors, including market opportunities. SRTG will not make any forced investment if the prospect is lacking, focusing on companies that generate high returns and benefit its shareholders. Lastly, the company is said to shortly conclude its investment in the healthcare service. (AM/ZH)
