JAKARTA. PT Intan Baru Prana Tbk (IBFN) has officially changed its business direction from a financing venture to a trading company and commercial transportation equipment provider, following the revocation of its business license as a financing company.

Alexander Reyza, Director of Intan Baru Prana, confirmed that this change is related to the sanction imposed by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), in which its business license as a financing company was annulled, as stated in the Copy of Decision Letter of the Board of Commissioners of OJK No.KEP-8/D.05/2022 regarding the Revocation of Business License of Financing Companies dated January 31, 2022. The business shift had gained approval from its shareholders during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting in Jakarta yesterday (2/2).

In the press release issued yesterday (2/2), Reyza wishes that this business shift will enhance the financial performance of the company in the future. He also hopes that the business prospect in the commercial transportation sector will continue to rise, following the demands from the national retail automotive industry.

Reyza also mentioned that the company will immediately set the new business activities to motion through its collaboration with PT Pratama Wana Motors. It will advance the fulfilment of the demands for commercial transportation from potential customers. (AM/ZH)
