WTR injects capital in Waskita Sriwijaya Tol
JAKARTA - PT Waskita Sriwijaya Tol (WST) received additional capital of IDR 462.61 billion from its parent, PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR). WTR is a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) with a portion of 92.53%.
In the disclosure of information quoted on Thursday (9/2), the additional capital was through the issuance of 462,619 shares, all of which were taken up by WTR. After the transaction, WTR's share portion became 99.67% of 3.34 million shares or IDR 3.34 trillion. Regional Companies (PD) Bende Segukguk and PD Prodexim own 0.18% and 0.15%, respectively.
Previously, WTR owned 99.61% of 2.88 million shares or IDR 2.88 trillion. Meanwhile, PD Bende Segukguk and PD Prodexim were 0.21% and 0.71%, respectively.
This additional capital will accelerate the completion of the Kayuagung-Palembang-Betung Toll Road (Kapal Betung). WST targets the 111.69 kilometer (km) toll road section to be completed in the third quarter of 2023. (LK/LM)
