CVC Capital Partners explores entry into AGII
JAKARTA - It is known that CVC Capital Partners is exploring the purchase of shares in PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII) from the Harsono family.
Quoted from bloomberg.com on Friday (10/2), the plan is currently under negotiation. If nothing goes wrong, the signing of the sale and purchase of shares at AGII will be signed at the end of the first quarter of 2023.
The portion of the Hartono family's shares in AGII is estimated to be 30%. The selling price is estimated to be in the range of US$ 150 million-US$ 200 million
As of December 2022, AGII's total shares were 3.06 billion shares. The owner structure is PT Aneka Mega Energi 25%, PT Samator 40.54%, the public 19.799%, PT Saratoga Investama 10%, Rachmat Harsono 2.489%, Heyzer Harsono 0.147%, Rasid Harsono 0.129%, Imelda Mulyani 1.193%, and treasury stock 0.703%.
Yesterday, AGII's share price strengthened 120 points or at IDR 2,160 at the close of trading. The highest price was recorded at IDR 2,180 and the lowest was IDR 1,970 per share. The transaction value was recorded at IDR 22.09 billion with a volume of 10.53 million and 3,199 transactions. (LK/LM)
